Hey there!
Here's a little in-between project I've been working on lately. A friend of mine needed a cover for his upcoming album so I thought I could try and create a little story out of it. The goal was to make a 3D anime-like character and setting, with some rough guidelines like bar/party vibes but also a melancholic touch to it. I reached out to a good friend of mine and she created some awesome concept art for this character. I then made a cinematic ready model of it and played around with cell shading.I decided to set the scene in the backstreet of a wretched bar, framing how the character prefers to be on his own.For the background I ended up mixing 2D and 3D quite a lot, which helped massively to achieve the feeling I had in mind. Also one of my main references was Cowboy Bebop, which is one of my favourite anime of all time.

Bit of a different one this time, but it was a super refreshing project to work on.
